The Eternal God has decreed that this present evil world will be destroyed and His wrath will be poured out during the “Great Tribulation” in judgment of sin. The Good News is that Christ died for the ungodly. The wonder of wonders is “…that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself,…” (2 Cor. 5:19). He shed His precious blood for the remission of sin (Acts 20:28; Heb. 9:14). “God gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved” (John 3:16,17). Christ took upon Him a human body (without sin) in the form a Servant and was born of a virgin, lived a life of perfect obedience to the Father unto death, even the death of the cross (Phil. 2:8). He suffered, bled, and died for the sins of His people. An overwhelming majority of men and women in our present generation have lost their moorings. We have forgotten that God is Holy and to be feared. God has called a remnant of faithful men to preach the Glorious Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and teach His commandments. We must hear God’s Word if we hope to be delivered from certain destruction and eternal damnation. We must hear God’s Word if we want Him to hear us. Some of the contemporary issues that seem to perplex this generation will be addressed in “A Voice Crying from A City Pulpit.“
